Considerate Constructors Success for Shepherd Construction
Shepherd Construction’s Bishop Auckland Community Fire Station and West Hartford Fire Station (NEFRA) projects have been awarded with Performance Beyond Compliance Certificates for Considerate Constructors.
In addition to this, the project team at Shepherd’s Tynemouth Fire Station (NEFRA) have also received a Certificate of Compliance for Considerate Constructors.
The certificates have been awarded to the projects for scoring four points or more for a clean and tidy site, for demonstrating a positive approach to safety and environmental issues and for putting procedures into place to minimise the impact on the local community.
Continuing with Considerate Constructors success, four of Shepherd Construction's projects, Burnley College, Walsall College, Rockliffe Hall Hotel and Golf Course and Richmond school have been recognised in the Considerate Constructors Scheme for the National Company Awards.
The awards are designed to recognise those who have demonstrated exceptional levels of consideration against the Scheme's Company Code of Considerate Practice.
The level of award (bronze, silver or gold) will be revealed at two presentation events, which will be held on 20 and 21 April 2010.
The best company, selected by an independent Awards panel, will be given the title of Most Considerate Company 2010.
