Shepherd Construction has appointed Andrew Rammell as Commercial Director.

Andrew will be responsible for commercial activities at Shepherd, which will also include management of strategic supply chain partnerships within the business. He will also hold a seat on the company’s Executive Board. He replaces Sean Smylie who moves to a new Executive Board role of Legal and Contracts Director. Andrew was previously Sector Commercial Director for Taylor Woodrow, a company he joined 25 years’ ago. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building. Andrew comments: “I am delighted to be joining Shepherd, especially at such a significant point for the company as it embarks on a strategic drive into new sectors while at the same time extending its presence further in existing markets.” Allan McDougall, Shepherd’s chief executive added: “This is the final appointment to be made to our newly formed Executive Board. I am delighted Andrew has joined the business and he will provide further strategic direction to our already strong commercial team.”
