Welcome to Shepherd Construction's info-site for the Richmond School programme.
This £32m, 17,500m² redevelopment project on behalf of North Yorkshire
County Council includes a new state-of-the-art secondary school building with glazed link bridge, bistro area and the refurbishment of the listed 6th Form building.
The project will also include a new ‘6 court’ sports hall and the complete landscaping of the entire campus. The construction of the sports hall is the first of three phases of the project, which is due for completion in 2011.
Shepherd already has a history in Richmond and actually built the original middle school in 1961, as well as having a regional office in the area until 1975. Shepherd’s connections with Richmond School are equally strong with many of the project team being educated there.
