An eight-storey office development with ground floor retails units and high-specification office accommodation over 7-storeys. The building was constructed over an existing basement, where a new car park was formed with 32 car-parking and 44 cycle spaces. In addition to the challenges posed with working in a confined city centre location, a number of new energy efficient technologies were used on the project including energy monitoring facilities and an ultra low ‘oxides of nitrogen’ (NOx) emissions boiler plant.
