This project saw the redevelopment of a 25-acre former colliery site to create a retail development in 17 themed buildings featuring over 150 retail units. Other features at the outlet include six LED video display schemes, water fountains and over 400m of curved flooring trench, which incorporates fibre optic pulsating lights, to provide a ‘fast flowing river’ effect. Over 1500 car parking spaces were also created.
