This stunning project involved the construction of a luxury 61 bed, five-star Hotel with new health club and spa facilities. The project included the upgrade of an existing Grade II listed building to form part of the Hotel, which features ten period bedrooms, each with individual characteristics; several large reception rooms including a cocktail bar and morning room, and the original Orangery, which has created a unique dining experience for up to 75 guests. A new Hotel Link was also created to provide a further 33 en-suite bedrooms, each with views over the parkland and golf course. The ground floor rooms all have private outdoor gardens while the upper floor rooms have balconies. A further 12 ‘Apartels’ and 6 Apartments were constructed as free standing buildings close to the east end of the old hall. Full back-office and catering facilities are contained within the Hotel, and an underground basement service corridor and plant and storage areas reduce the back-office footfall through public areas. A Spa and Well Being Centre are also located within the hotel. In addition, the complex is home to a championship 18-hole golf course, which includes a driving range and full practice facilities and a stunning new clubhouse. The course is almost 7,800 yards long, which will makes the longest course in Europe.
